Disclaimer: During a recent Nominet domain name dispute filed by Mr Stuart Salisbury, Managing Director - Megameeting UK Limited, Mr Salisbury stated that, referring to the original disclaimer at the bottom of this page: "MegaMeeting LLC’s UK lawyers advise this is a weak disclaimer with regard to MegaMeeting LLC. Furthermore the disclaimer makes no reference to MegaMeeting UK Limited".
The Nominet case is now closed but the following disclaimer hopefully satisfies Mr Salisbury's concerns and, of course, those of his UK lawyers and also MegaMeeting LLC’s UK lawyers:
This site has no link whatsoever with any USA based company, especially one called MegaMeeting© or Megameeting LLC. You may need to check your spelling and re-enter the URL if you have arrived here by mistake.
Furthermore, this is purely an information site and does not seek to pass-off products, or indeed services, as those of Megameeting UK Limited.
This site was initially created as a Web & Video Conferencing Blog or Internet Meeting/Collaboration Blog but is now temporarily offline.
No doubt Mega Meetings still continue to waste people's time. No doubt there's frustration regarding needless time wasted in traffic jams, lost because of transport delays or simply spent negotiating check-in and security queues at airports etc. In the meantime, the use of web conferencing continues to grow - whether using on-premise web conferencing software or via hosted web conferencing applications and hosted video conferencing services.
.... but more of that somewhere else
